Register Your IP in China
Chinese IP law is territorial — your US/EU patent provides NO protection in China. Register your trademark, patent, and design rights with CNIPA (China National Intellectual Property Administration) before starting production.
Use Non-Disclosure Agreements
Have suppliers sign NDAs (in Chinese and English). While not foolproof, NDAs establish legal grounds for action and show you're serious about IP protection.
Split Production
Manufacture different components with different suppliers. Only you know how to assemble the final product. This makes copying much harder.
