Read Reviews Carefully
Look for suppliers with 4+ star ratings and 50+ reviews. Read negative reviews specifically — they reveal real issues. One pattern of complaints about quality or shipping delays is a red flag.
Send Detailed RFQs
A good RFQ (Request for Quote) includes: product specifications, quantity, packaging requirements, target price, and shipping destination. Detailed RFQs attract serious suppliers and filter out time-wasters.
Compare Multiple Quotes
Get quotes from at least 5 suppliers. Compare pricing, MOQs, lead times, and payment terms. If one quote is 30%+ lower than others, be suspicious — not happy.
